Argentina, 1985 (2022)

This story was based on real facts that took place in Argentina. The year 1985 was not an easy period for the country, the military completely took control of the country, the situation could sometimes be called critical and led people to unpleasant incidents. When the government is completely controlled by the military and weapons, aggression in the country increases even more, the life of the civilian population changes a lot, it becomes difficult for people to perceive the unpleasant situation around them.

The film shows how tired the people were of the military dictatorship, it was necessary to find help from those people who could resist the whole system. Not everyone is able to go to war with the regime established in the government, everyone understands that it often ends in defeat, and ordinary people will definitely not have a chance to win. Public Prosecutor Julio Strasser, together with a young lawyer Luis Moreno Ocampo, decided to challenge the military dictatorship spreading throughout Argentina. They filed a lawsuit and sued the authorities, accusing them of acting against the people.
