The Green Inferno (2013)

A group of young Americans were actively engaged in supporting the civic position, especially they were very concerned that the forests of the Amazon were being cut down at a huge pace. They were worried about the fate of the aborigines living there, they are threatened with destruction if the loggers do not stop their blasphemous activities. To get to know the problem of South America live, activists decide to go to the very center of impenetrable forests, so they can fully experience the atmosphere of these wild places. They need to make documentary sketches of how illegal logging of forests is conducted and attract the public, which can influence the stopping of the sad process.

Having arrived at the place of deforestation, activists begin to organize serious pogroms, they are trying with all their might to stop heavy equipment, take out posters and start shouting slogans. To calm down the young people, the local police arrive and take them to the police station, where they do not know how long they would have had to stay if Carlos had not arrived, who bought the prisoners. All the participants of the trip get on the plane and are going to go home during the flight, a crash occurs, the plane crashes in the forest, Carlos dies, and the rest of the members have to face the incredible cruelty of a wild tribe that they tried to protect from destruction.
