Passing (2021)

Irene lives a prosperous life, her husband is a successful doctor, fully capable of providing the family with comfort and a wonderful life. The couple lives in a cozy prestigious neighborhood where there are no poor, they like it here, because it is a great place to raise their beloved and charming sons. A woman can safely communicate with representatives of the fair sex who have a white skin color, she communicates with them absolutely on a par. There is only one obstacle, more and more unpleasant news appears in the newspapers that black people are being abused, especially after false and unproven accusations, which frightens a woman too much.

One day Irene runs into an old friend of Claire, she is incredibly fashionably dressed and looks like a real Hollywood star, which greatly surprised the main character. An old acquaintance was on top, she could hide her belonging to African roots, even her husband, who has racist views, did not know about her secrets. How these two women managed to live in this society, they themselves do not understand, but they try to laugh loudly and gaily when someone tries to joke about dark-skinned people. Claire, once in her friend's family, begins to charm everyone, her husband, children and even herself, showing her too close influence.
