The Catcher Was a Spy (2018)

Action of the movie happens in the heat of World War II when in the territory of the whole Europe heavy fighting with fascist Germany was going. The main character around whom all this history, Mo Berg, the polyglot, the intellectual and the graduate of the prestigious university is developed. Before war the man he actively participated in professional sport, playing for the famous basketball team until to it suggested to accept cooperation with "Management of Strategic Services". Considering its abilities and talents, the young man quickly could fit into special department and to become one of the best agents of spies. 

The special assignment the government becomes its first task, and it has to execute it ideally, its result the fate of the whole world depends. The young man is sent to Germany where he has to neutralize Verner Gezenburga working on creation of an atomic bomb. The best option for the administration would be if Berg could deliver scientific live and safe that with it the staff of intelligence agencies could work, but chances of survival of such enterprise does not promise hope for a positive outcome therefore it was authorized to it to destroy as required defeats an object without any thoughts.
