The Silencing (2020)

The main character lives as a hermit in a forest remote from the city, this is a huge nature reserve, where vacationers do not come so often. He had to come here to try to hide from his problems, which do not give him the opportunity to live normally among people. A couple of years ago, his daughter went missing, this grief made the hermit unhappy and now he is trying to drown out the pain only with the help of alcohol, which slowly drags the man into a terrible abyss. Perhaps everything would have gone on so sadly if he hadn't had a chance to try to take revenge.

Fate decides to give him a chance to get even with the one who could have become the man who kidnapped his daughter. The hunter will have to get involved in a dangerous game, more like a cat and mouse, in which he will become a rodent, because the killer decides to play with his victim, driving him to despair. But a man is not as simple as it seems, and he faces an important task to get even with the one who made his life unbearable and a difficult ordeal. Together with him, the local sheriff goes in search of the criminal, although she is constantly trying to find some shortcomings in her work.
