12 Mighty Orphans (2021)

The hero of the First World War Rusty Russell is a rather unusual and interesting person. Because of the military operations, he lost his eyesight and now he cannot cope without the help of friends and relatives. But the situation is aggravated by his difficult nature. Having changed his occupation after an injury, he went to work as a football coach and he does it perfectly, he is considered the best and most professional sports teacher in the whole city. He is not afraid of difficulties, so he recruits his team from orphans, to whom he can give a happy future and make them real champions of American football.

During this period, the Great Depression is brewing in the country and residents need examples of people who will be able to get out of the mud and create a happy future for themselves. The financial situation of the shelter does not allow you to purchase a football field, a uniform and the necessary equipment. The director of the boarding school uses schoolchildren only as free labor, and does not intend to invest in their sporting achievements. But the hero has enough enthusiasm, so he will find a way to solve a difficult problem.
