Candyman (2021)

An aspiring artist, Anthony McCoy, is moving from Chicago to a new neighborhood. Together with a friend, they picked up a nice apartment where they planned to spend a long time together, enjoying an ideal relationship and trying to create something unusual in the field of drawing. Finding himself in a new place, the young man wanted to explore the area in which he would live. It is necessary to feel a story that helps to feel inspiration, perhaps which will allow him to show his inner potential. Collecting useful information, the guy gets acquainted with an elderly man, he has been living on this street for a long time and knows a lot of all kinds of stories, about almost every inhabitant. So he decides to tell the newcomer about a terrible legend that scares the whole area to the present day. He tells about a serial killer who comes to his victims through a mirror. To see a maniac, you need to stand in front of a large mirror and say the name Candyman five times, after which the killer appears with a bloody hook. After hearing an impressive story, Anthony decides to create an exhibition dedicated to this topic, which will be the beginning of successful events in his life.
