Thackeray (2019)

A biographical film about the life of an outstanding Indian man trying to fight for human freedom and equality. He can be safely called an influential leader, who was listened to and respected for his insightful statements that understand the inner way of life of an ordinary person, far from wealth and luxury. He led the Hindu Nationalist Party and supported far-right politics. Bal Takarei was an authoritarian personality who found support among a huge number of people who became his admirers.

He started his career in a small newspaper published under the leadership of the nationalist Party, where he worked as a cartoonist. After a short time, Takarei began to head the publication, and soon to influence the internal structure of the party itself. Due to harsh statements, constant rallies, as well as the use of violent methods of struggle, the party took not the most pleasant positions in the government of the country, having received tough opposition from their side. Thanks to the oratorical abilities of the main character, he could attract young people to his side from one speech, who always supported his views on the country's politics.
