At one time he was incredibly famous, but now his works are considered uninteresting and outdated for the modern public. The man worked on an evening TV program, where he prescribed scripts, and this helped him to maintain himself in a boundless and rapidly changing world.

At a well-known event dedicated to the social problems of the planet, the main character meets a talented singer of songs Emma Page. During a charity auction, Emma wins a dinner with Charlie. Perhaps this is the fate for two lonely people, just one meeting became an incredibly decisive event for them, which determined their future life. He decides to tell his new friend his terrible secret, because to admit that dementia is gradually overcoming him is too painful and unbearably unpleasant.
