The main character, along with other citizens, is forced to stay in a closed settlement. A few years ago, the townspeople were isolated from the outside world due to a mysterious epidemic of unknown origin that suddenly broke out. Abigail's father was among the first to be infected with a dangerous disease. Soon after infection, a relative was taken away by strange people. At that time, Abi was only six years old. Years have passed. The grown-up girl does not lose hope of ever seeing her dad again. She does not stop trying to find out the whereabouts of a loved one.
