Paul, Apostle of Christ (2018)

The Apostle Paul is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. The man had a strong influence on the development of Christianity in many countries. Once, a man who was making a missionary journey was imprisoned by representatives of the imperial authorities. The prisoner awaiting the death penalty, under the supervision of the prefect, resigned himself to his unenviable fate. 

Meanwhile, the "guard" is trying to understand how a tired old man can pose a threat to the existence of the Roman Empire?! While in prison, Pavel recalls his own life and the events that served as the beginning of his acquaintance with the Almighty. One day, a long-time acquaintance of the prisoner, doctor Luca, arrives in Rome, who decided to visit a friend, despite the dangers. A friend is going to write a book in which he intends to tell about the birth of the Christian church. According to the author, his work should carry a message of peace and love for all inhabitants of the globe.
