Censor (2021)

The film takes place in 1985, when films with violent content are incredibly popular in England. People are turned on by stories with the theme of murder and terrible fear, which turns into an indescribable feeling of hopelessness. The main character works in the film classification department, where special decisions are made for each motion picture. Angie begins to express her concern about the appearance of such an aggressive movie on TV screens and cinemas, and offers to deal with this issue by reducing the screenings of these films.

The problem begins after one of the creepy films inspires the father of the family to kill his wife and children, society begins to worry, and it's right that this horror can be watched in such free access. One day during a family dinner, the parents begin to remember with Angie about her missing sister. This happened when the girls were still young, after a long search, the father and mother still declared their daughter dead, although the main character herself does not take this possibility seriously.
