Ajagajantharam (2021)

Every year a temple festival is celebrated in the Indian village of Aranjali. It is held on a huge scale, during the year they prepare for this significant event, prepare jewelry, animals, costumes, food, and of course alcohol. On this day, residents do not restrain themselves in any way, they use drugs in addition to alcoholic beverages, which greatly increase their selfish state. During the celebration, the participants seem to go crazy, they cannot be stopped. Under the influence of psychotropic drugs, their inner demons break out, and utter chaos occurs, consciousness becomes clouded, it seems to them that mystical beings appear and gods descend to them on earth to give them advice for the future.

One of the brightest representatives of the festival is an elephant, an animal must be present at this event, showing the greatness of the whole event. Lali delivers a batch of elephants for this holiday for the first time, but despite the unfamiliar place, she is arrogant and tries to put herself above the rest. When an unemployed young man constantly flashes between her, trying to molest her, the girl kicks him with all her might, showing her dissatisfaction. It is from this moment that a series of strange events begins to develop, where a showdown between unemployed and eternally loitering youth, villagers, a group of machouts and a notorious criminal are woven together. All this results in a terrible full-scale chaos, plunging the entire celebration area into an unreal and tragic show.
