Jack Reacher (2012)

Early in the morning the unknown sniper shoots people on the embankment. It is quickly calculated and arrested. On interrogation James Barre instead of recognition asks to bring a certain Jack Richer. The detective Emerson and the district attorney Alex Rodin try to find Richer, but find out that it is the person ghost if he wants, then will come. And occurs. Richer appears suddenly and asks to show proofs, but the district attorney refuses to him and Jack wants to leave.

The lawyer Burra, Helen Rodin, Richera asks to help her to investigate case of her ward because it is threatened by the death penalty. Jack is sure that Barre is a murderer. But why then Barre called him if he knew that Richer will surely confirm crime? Richer goes to look for the answer to this question. First of all he examines the embankment and the parking from where the sniper made firing, then goes to department of proofs to look at weapon Burra. Meanwhile somebody watches Richer, and then organizes attack on it. Richer understands that history with Barre where confusing, than seems at first sight.
