Ardh (2022)

Shiva spent most of his life trying to gain recognition as an actor in feature films. After receiving a theatrical education, he moved from the province to Mumbai, where he became quite a sought-after artist in the local Melpomene temple. However, only selected people, theater fans, are familiar with his work, and he wants to become famous throughout the country. The money earned for the performances is sorely lacking for a normal existence. In search of a solution to financial problems, the main character one day, together with his beloved wife, comes up with an original way to correct the sad situation: Madhu disguises her husband as a transgender, after which he begins to beg on the streets of a huge metropolis from passers-by. A married couple going through a difficult period has a philosophical attitude to their activities. Thanks to donations, relatives buy food and pay for a roof over their heads. They believe that difficult times will soon end.
