In India the citizens who are adherents of the communistic ideas of the great helmsman of the Chinese people, Mao Jie Dong are called by naksalit. In the mid-nineties last century, in the territory of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh occurred mass revolts of the naksalit which decided to acquire more rights and freedoms. The young woman Vennela matured, being fond of the interesting works created by the naksalits leader, Ravi Shankara. The girl sincerely admires the philosophy of the guru formulated by him in numerous works.

In the 1992nd year, the government begins to purge among the population of the small settlement, trying to find supporters of a naksalit, for the purpose of their isolation from society. Quickly, in the small village there arrives the division under Shankara's command. The fearless leader makes an ambush on law enforcement officers then he starts restoration of an order in the settlement. This case made an indelible impression on the main character who leaves parents house in search of Ravi. In love with the man Vanell wants to find the idol openly to declare warm feelings.
