The Old Guard (2020)

For many centuries, immortal warriors have been helping people overcome difficult situations, divine forces have given them a unique opportunity to restore their body after any injuries. Tissue regeneration took place with great speed, the damage was delayed in a matter of hours, endowing its owner with further life. There is only one thing that bothers these people, then on the contrary makes them wait for this day to get rid of the curse of being eternal. Sometimes the gift of healing can suddenly come to one of the warriors, no one knows when this will happen and therefore any wound may be the last for the eternal heroes, and of course become the cause of their death.

The team of immortals includes a Scythian Hadromache named Andy, Booker, Nick and Joe. They work for certain secret organizations, performing dangerous missions. The last time they had to free the abducted children in South Sedan, but the task fails, and they are attacked, where they die. A day later, their bodies are restored and they can again join the task and take revenge on those who decided to deal with them. All suspicions of their failure fall on Copley, an employee of the PSC with whom they collaborated. At the same time, a strange event occurs in the east, a female infantryman's throat is cut, she falls unconscious, but then after a while she comes to, and there are no signs of injuries on her neck. Immortals learn about this case and understand that a new person appears in their ranks, able to diversify their lives and increase the number of the team. They have a small problem, special people are being hunted by a scientist trying to uncover the secret of individuals with high regenerating abilities.
