A Jazzman's Blues (2022)

The story is about the sad love of two young people, they are madly in love with each other, but there are many obstacles that prevent them from connecting into a single whole to enjoy the boundlessness of their feelings. The film takes place in the forties of the twentieth century, when moral principles strongly influenced society, and marriages had to be performed only at the will of parents trying to find a worthy candidate for their offspring. They care little about the question of the inner emotions of their daughters or sons, only calculation and benefit.

Relationships cannot develop between lovers, but they still keep in touch years later, through letters. The years fly by, they grow up, they have the opportunity to meet and talk about what they can still do in order to become happy. That's just a problem, the girl got married at the insistence of her parents and now has to play the role of a kind-hearted and faithful wife of her successful spouse.
