Medieval (2022)

The name of Jan Zizka will forever remain in history, and for many he has become a Czech national symbol. He became a legendary military commander who did not lose a single battle. He was credited with masterful possession of edged weapons, courage and the ability to calculate the steps of enemies in advance. He was born into a poor family and overcame many trials that only hardened his tough character and made him stronger. The events take place in the XV century, when the country had to defend itself from the invasion of the Teutonic Order and the encroachments of the Roman Empire. A serious struggle for the empty throne unfolded between the Czech king Wenceslaus and the Hungarian ruler Sigismund. The palaces are ruled by mercenary conspirators and insidious schemers, secretly planning coups and overthrow of power. Only an official coronation could reverse the situation and stop the bloody war. Brave knights have to choose the side for which they will have to fight. Some choose the path of justice, while others sacrifice principles in order to get a higher rank and material benefits.
