Pearl (2022)

The events of the picture unfold in 1918 during the First World War. A young lady named Pearl lives on a farm with her parents and, like many at her age, dreams of becoming a great actress and moving to a big city. She considers herself a written beauty, worthy of decorating movie theater posters and social events where the rich and famous gather. That's just unlikely she will be able to realize her dream, because of the meager financial situation of the family. After all, her father is confined to a wheelchair, and her mother is forced to work for everyone on a cursed farm that does not bring much income.

For this reason, the girl hates her house and all the people around her, which leads to a nervous breakdown. Then she picks up agricultural tools, giving special preference to an axe and a pitchfork, brutally cracking down on anyone who dares to laugh at her. The bloody harvest of a crazy young lady who is not responsible for her actions cannot be stopped
